Recent Activity

EPA has initiated a national rulemaking to establish a program to reduce stormwater discharges from new development and redevelopment and make other regulatory improvements to strengthen its stormwater program. The draft rule is expected to be published in the Federal Register for public comment sometime between September to November, 2011. This draft rulemaking is in response to the findings contained in the “National Research Council Report on Urban Stormwater Management” which evaluated EPA’s NPDES Stormwater program.
