June 23rd & July 14th
Host Purdue Athletes Life Success (PALS) Program summer camp.

  • Biological and Chemical sampling at Wea Creek and enter data into Hoosier Riverwatch. 
  • Last year more than 400 children attended the camp for children 8-14.  We will have 25 students each day at the creek.
  • It is free for the participants who are selected based on referrals from local schools.

Wabash Riverfest

  • TCPWQ will have a booth with a rain barrel display.

July 17th - 24th
Tippecanoe 4-H County Fair - see photos from the fair

  • TCPWQ will partner with SWCD and Wabash River Enhancement Corporation to promote rain barrel education and Wabash River education.

August 3rd

Lyn-Treece Boys and Girls Club visit Wea Creek

  • Biological and chemical sampling of the water. 
  • Data will be entered into the Hoosier Riverwatch database.

August 3rd
Greater Lafayette Homeschool Education Association open house

  • At Faith Baptist. 
  • TCPWQ will be there promoting stormwater education that can be brought into the curriculum. 

August 4th
West Lafayette Farmers Market

  • Rain barrel display and promote stormwater education
